Breast and cervical cancer screenings are provided for women, 40 to 64 years of age, who do not have Medicaid, Medicare Part D, or private insurance and meet the financial criteria. Women in the BCCCP clinic may receive a breast exam, pap smear, and referral for a mammogram at no cost.
BCCCP also accepts referrals for breast and cervical cancer screenings from other medical providers. Providers should contact BCPHD to initiate the referral.
Additional information can be provided by contacting our BCCCP Coordinator or by visiting the North Carolina Division of Public Health BCCCP website.
BCPHD encourages any uninsured clients to explore their health insurance options at the Health Insurance Marketplace.
