Counseling, education, and various methods of birth control are provided for the female population within the childbearing years.
Services include:
- Birth control pills
- Breast and Cervical Cancer prevention and screening
- Contraceptive counseling and education
- Hormonal implant (Nexplanon®)
- HPV vaccine
- Injectable Contraceptives (Depo-Provera®)
- IUD insertion and removal (Mirena® and Paragard®)
- Physical exams
Confidentiality
Your privacy is very important to us. Per NCGS 90-21.5, if you are under 18 years old in the state of North Carolina, you can receive medical care for contraception and testing for sexually transmitted diseases with or without parental permission. Parental involvement is encouraged.
Costs
Costs vary depending on service provided. Services are offered on a sliding fee scale based on family size and income. Please ask about the cost when scheduling your appointment.
Additional Information
Abstinence is the only 100% effective guarantee to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Many are not curable and can leave you unable to conceive in the future. Over half of all pregnancies are unintended.
